Admin — Ontology

Ontology Studio is the operator surface for governed business/domain vocabulary. It lives under Manage → Ontology.

Route: /ontology
Surfaces: Change Sets, Definitions, Mappings, Reprocess Jobs

Memory should not compile raw memory into durable business structure without a review point. Ontology Studio lets admins inspect evidence-backed suggestions, edit weak proposals, approve durable definitions, and watch the async reprocess job that updates tenant-shared Brain pages/facets.

SurfacePurpose
Change SetsStart scans, review suggested entity types, relationships, facet templates, mappings, evidence, confidence, frequency, and impact
DefinitionsInspect approved entity types, relationship types, and facet templates
MappingsInspect optional external mappings such as Schema.org or internal vocabularies
Reprocess JobsCheck whether approved changes have been applied to Brain materialization
  • Start with a scan only when you expect recurring business patterns in the corpus.
  • Do not approve a line item without cited evidence.
  • Edit tenant-facing names and guidance before approval; external mappings are metadata, not canonical names.
  • After approval, verify the reprocess job before assuming the Brain has been updated.
  • Use the operations guide when a reprocess job fails or appears to apply fewer pages than expected.
